Description

• looking to join a company with an amazing culture • founded in Silicon Valley in 2002 • iXsystems is a profitable, growing, self-funded global company • changing the data storage industry with TrueNAS • critical role for the EMEA team at iXsystems • responsible for managing and developing our largest market • working closely with strategic channel partners • report to the Director of Sales based in The Netherlands • fully remote position based in The Netherlands • achieve annual and quarterly sales KPIs and bookings goals • respond to assigned inbound inquiries • vet and determine end-user business objectives • produce and deliver quotes • actively generate sufficient pipeline

Requirements

• 3+ years of outside sales • focus on new customer acquisition or business development • consistently delivering $3M+ per year in bookings • previously sold highly technical solutions • trained in one or more of the following sales methodologies: Challenger Sale, Gap Selling, Force Management, MEDDPICC • comfortable working a broad range of customer sizes and industries • consistent track record of exceeding quota • comfortable being the "underdog" • self-starter • excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, planning, and time management skills • ability to be both self-reliant and a team player • background in Open Source Technologies a plus • ability to properly forecast • willingness to travel up to 25% • native German and fluent in English
