Description

• Responsible for providing plant project support and leading projects. • Establish and maintain standards and best practices, engaging proactively with vendors. • Support the automation landscape and stay current on emerging operational technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Chemical Engineering • 8+ years of relevant controls experience • 5+ years of manufacturing experience • Strong knowledge of machine and/or process control hardware, instrumentation and software • Working knowledge of NFPA and OSHA guidelines related to electrical equipment and practices • Experience learning and integrating new technologies • Experience leading the installation of equipment • Capital and/or project management experience • Understanding of plant systems software (Proficy, Project Management, eAM, etc.) • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • FANUC robot and/or automation experience • Mechanical and electrical experience in food manufacturing.
