Description

• The Aftermarket Parts Sales Account Manager – Direct Channel is responsible for growing Aftermarket Parts sales volume through distributor channel accounts. • You will generate and develop new distribution channel partners, increase wallet share through fostering loyalty and customer preservation. • Represent the North America Aftermarket Parts business as THE subject matter expert to manage channel challenges, offer new products and solutions and improve the channel partner’s customer experience. • Drive sales growth playbook initiatives and develop new sales programs to grow indirect channels in alignment with Global Parts. • Manage ongoing sales process to drive sales visibility and accountability and respond to and anticipates customer needs including quarterly strategic account reviews. • Differentiate and leverage Johnson Controls product offerings to gain market share based on the total benefit of doing business with Johnson Controls. • Serve as the liaison for Johnson Controls Applied aftermarket parts to the channel partners regarding parts products support. • Report sales activity and new account development and search out new channel sales partner opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six (6) years of HVAC sales experience OR Associate degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of HVAC sales experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to travel a minimum of 40-50%. • Prior experience and a proven track record of successfully working remotely showcasing strong self-discipline and the ability to meet deadlines independently. • Advanced proficiency using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Applicants located in all time zones will be considered; however, must be willing to adjust your working hours to start the workday between 7:30AM-8:30AM (CT). • Proven ability to solve practical problems, develop long-term solutions and effectively communicate resolutions to customers. • Disciplined self-starter with excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced sales environment. • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels communicating both on a technical and non-technical basis. • Demonstrated, verbal and written communication skills. • Outstanding presentation skills and experience facilitating one on one and group presentations.
