Description

• Responsible for the management and execution of KBI global procurement strategy through an Indirect Operations Buyer role. • Manage timely execution of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to support KBI Strategic projects. • Work closely with respective demand owners and Global Procurement Category Management Team. • Ensure the achievement of agreed service targets regarding quality, costs, and time. • Play a key role in the forthcoming transition to SAP systems for KBI. • Establish and manage relationships with significant strategic suppliers. • Provide detailed quality work through all systems touched to ensure quality data upload into KBI systems. • Supplier engagement and PO delivery as required. • Work with Finance for any escalations related to Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders. • Meet sales representatives or partners to define specifications on sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or other relevant studies • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with exposure to Indirect spend categories within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries. • Other experience considered in lieu if part of a strong overall resume. • Specific Buyer know-how and SAP experience is essential. • Excellent analytical skills and eye for detail • Rigorous and committed team player, agile and customer service mindset. • Excellent knowledge of MS Office • A knowledge of analytical and strategic procurement systems (such as SAP Business Data Warehouse, ARIBA, ASC Trac) is desirable. • Excellent communication and presentation skills on all levels of the organization • Fluent English, spoken and written.
