• KatRisk is a leading provider of catastrophe risk modeling solutions, dedicated to helping businesses and organizations understand, manage, and mitigate the risks associated with natural disasters. • Our innovative technology and expertise enable clients to make informed decisions and optimize their risk management strategies. • As VP of Sales, you will be responsible for creating and executing a scalable sales strategy, managing the sales pipeline, and delivering consistent revenue results. • This role will require strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build and nurture high-performing teams in a remote environment. • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with KatRisk's overall business objectives and growth goals. • Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to consistently exceed revenue targets and key performance metrics. • Act as an insurance industry Subject Matter Expert (SME), leveraging industry knowledge to support strategic sales initiatives and deepen customer relationships. • Build and maintain a healthy and predictable sales pipeline, ensuring proper tracking and management through CRM tools. • Create and manage accurate sales forecasts, quotas, and reporting processes to drive transparency and accountability. • Implement and refine sales methodologies such as MEDDICC to ensure effective and consultative selling practices. • Partner with marketing to create and execute high-impact inbound and outbound sales motions that generate qualified leads and accelerate deal cycles. • Work closely with the product and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction. • Recruit, train, and mentor sales talent to build a high-performing team • Understand technical products and be able to sell the value to a client’s executive team. • Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies. • Cultivate relationships with key accounts, driving strategic deals to closure and expanding partnerships. • Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored account-based strategies to penetrate and grow those markets. • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with company-wide goals and objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• A proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue goals in a complex enterprise sales environment. • Ability to develop and execute tailored, account-based strategies to accelerate deal cycles. • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience,, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. • Insurance industry experience, preferably within insurtech or start-up environments • Extensive experience scaling business operations in a high-growth environment, especially in creating high-impact inbound/outbound sales motions. • Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to create and execute sales plans that align with and support company-wide goals. • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, especially in coaching and mentoring sales talent in a remote and globally dispersed setting. • Data-driven and analytical, with an ability to interpret sales metrics to drive improvements. • High EQ/IQ individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and nurturing relationships across all levels. • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, with an innovative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo for impactful results. • Extensive experience with CRM tools and sales metrics to guide informed decision-making. • Strong negotiation skills with a reputation for closing deals. • Effective verbal and written communicator; ability to distill complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audience. • Experience creating sales forecasts/quotas and managing forecasts effectively. • Expertise using sales methodologies such as MEDDICC as well as a proven background in consultative sales.
