• About Us: KCG Companies is a leading vertically integrated real estate development and construction firm specializing in the development of sustainable multifamily housing. • Position Summary: The EVP of Portfolio Management will establish and lead the newly created Portfolio Management department within the firm. • This key executive will oversee the performance, compliance, and reporting of the company’s multifamily portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. • The EVP will play a critical role in creating processes and systems for portfolio oversight and will build and manage a high-performing team to support the department’s responsibilities. • This role can be done remotely. We anticipate up to 25% travel.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in portfolio or asset management, preferably within multifamily housing or real estate. • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Knowledge of property management, development, construction, and finance operations in a vertically integrated firm. • Track record of building and leading successful teams. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with investors, lenders, and partners. • Experience with low-income housing tax credits and compliance reporting. • Familiarity with financial modeling tools and portfolio management software. • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies across diverse teams and departments. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals across various disciplines. • Professional and positive interaction with subordinates, peers, and supervisors. • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working relationship with all employees. • Ability to recognize and manage priorities. • Demonstrate good judgement in reporting and solving issues. • Exhibit a “Can Do” Attitude. • Function independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating good planning skills. • Ability to multi-task effectively. • Show initiative in taking on additional responsibilities as schedule allows.
