📋 Description
• Oversee the Revenue Accounting functional area, including contract review, revenue recognition analysis and application of ASC 606. • Execute and deliver monthly and quarterly financial results in accordance with US GAAP. • Perform initial key analytics on financial results to confirm accuracy. • Execute complex accounting activities, including revenue and contra-revenue accounting. • Manage third-party shared service activities for timely monthly deliverables. • Review business unit controls and focus on strengthening the control environment. • Responsible for account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. • Deliver analytical support to the Global Residential Fire Business Unit CFO. • Support operational and technical accounting deliverables for the controller.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years of experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area. • OR Master’s Degree (MBA) • 3+ years of experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area. • Revenue accounting experience • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • MBA, CPA/CMA preferred. • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to reach accurate conclusions. • Proactive and self-initiating work style. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. • Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills. • Ability to adapt to changing business environment. • Proficiency in Excel and presentation skills.
