• Kinetic is on a mission to create a safer workplace and better life for the frontline workforce around the world. • Kinetic is at the forefront of innovation in Underwriting. • The Director of Underwriting will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of eight production underwriters. • This role requires up to 25% travel throughout the US.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience writing Workers’ Comp, with 5 years being in upper mid-market or large, risk management accounts • Must have experience in loss sensitive and retro style business • 5+ years directly managing teams of underwriters and operations related to underwriting in a production underwriting environment • A track record of building and maintaining a profitable book of business over $50M in size • Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility • Strong track record of coaching around production output
