Requirements

• 3–5 years of industry experience in a data science role, preferably in a research and development capacity in a software company. • Strong programming skills, with experience in Python is essential. Your code should be clean, organised, and easy to read. • Experience building models and developing data and analytical pipelines to solve real-world problems. • Solid understanding of machine learning/statistical theory, with practical experience applying a range of techniques. • Familiarity with deploying models in production environments. • Strong communication skills – the ability to explain complex data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision making through your work. • Ability to work with internal and external teams to iteratively arrive at solutions that fit their needs. • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Sports Science, or a related field. • A genuine interest in human performance is a bonus, especially if you understand the world of elite athletics or defence and how data can be used to enhance performance and career longevity. • Must be a US National, able to pass a background check, and potentially gain security clearance.
