Description

• Oversees a team of Financial Specialists managing workload and tracking transactions. • Provides financial management and guidance in budgetary operations and implements financial policies to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of public procurement and financial regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures. • Knowledge of higher education and/or healthcare operations and the ability to understand department needs. • Analytical and decision making skills. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. • Ability to build and manage relationships within the unit, central finance, and other functional areas. • Customer-service focus with understanding of how to use metrics to evaluate service levels. • Management experience and ability to coach individuals through career development. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. • Advanced Microsoft office skills with strong working knowledge of Excel. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required. Will accept experience in lieu of education. • Five (5) years of customer-facing service or financial transaction experience to include one (1) year of supervisory experience is required.
