• Max Retail enables the preservation and growth of the independent retail industry through its platform that easily and frictionlessly connects the supply of unsold inventory to a global network of demand. • Max Retail is seeking an experienced CFO to lead our financial strategy and operations. • As a key member of the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial success through the Series A stage and beyond. • The ideal candidate will bring a strong financial background, marketplace expertise, and a passion for contributing to the growth of small businesses in the digital landscape.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • Proven experience as a finance leader in a technology startup environment, preferably from Series A and beyond. • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills. • Experience in fundraising and managing investor relations. • Knowledge of marketplace technology business models and the unique financial considerations for small retail businesses. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
