πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Perform Business Development functions within an assigned territory to secure existing account base and cultivate new OEM account placements. β€’ These duties include developing and maintaining proper business within your distributor network and OEMs to maximize sales potential in all product categories and distribution channels. β€’ Provide long-term account management with technical assistance, product training, sales support, and other requirements as necessary to assure proper equipment specification and maximize sales effectiveness within the account. β€’ Keep customers informed about available products, services, prices, programs, marketing tools, and terms and conditions relating to the account's product and distributor classification(s). β€’ Evaluate existing and potential accounts and recommend changes or modifications necessary to maximize sales in conformance with company policies regarding distribution strategies and programs. β€’ When required, prepare quotes for new product sales in conformance with company policies regarding pricing, discounts, and terms. β€’ Recommend special terms, pricing, or other policy changes as may be required on an individual sale basis to assure receipt of orders. β€’ Meet established sales quota by obtaining new Demag Drives Products orders. β€’ Keep the company informed of competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing, warranty, marketing policies, and product innovations. β€’ Control and report expenses incurred in performing functions monthly. β€’ Maximize effective use of time and investment to achieve company and position objectives. β€’ Maintain up-to-date documentation of all key customer activities in the CRM system. β€’ Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 2+ years of previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Sales Engineer for industrial/capital tangible sales. β€’ Experience selling to machine OEMs is a plus. β€’ Long-term sales cycle, planning, account management, and account service experience. β€’ Engineering and problem-solving aptitude. β€’ Long-term sales strategy development and implementation. β€’ Mechanical and electrical aptitude. β€’ Capital equipment and OEM selling experience. β€’ A driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle are required. β€’ Must be very organized and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. β€’ This position requires good interpersonal and communication skills. β€’ Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). β€’ Must be able to travel domestically up to 60%.
