• Kontron is a global leader in IoT/Embedded Computing Technology (ECT). • The Inside Sales team is responsible for managing small and medium size customers (<$5M). • Outbound email, phone and video conference contact with potential customers to generate new leads. • Provide general pre-sales information by answering questions about products, applications, pricing, availability, and lead times. • Review customer requests for quotations and specifications needed to determine the best fit product solution. • Determine solution path to reach customer requirements. • Coordinate with other Inside Sales team members to provide quotations to customers as needed. • Record all information in company CRM per required standards. • Determine customer product requirements. • All other related tasks as assigned.
• 2 year minimum Technical college, Engineering, or Business degree (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years’ experience in computer product sales or sales development preferred. • Experience in Defense, Transportation, Avionics, Medical, or Industrial markets a plus • SAP experience a plus • Proven cross-functional leadership skills • Excellent oral, written, presentation, spreadsheet, and communication skills. • Ability to decipher ambiguous and conflicting information to set and drive account goals • Proven ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment • Knowledge of current trends in the computing industry and their applications. • Ability to manage numerous open tasks in a dynamic work environment to completion • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally
