📋 Description

• FarmRaise is hiring an Account Manager & Support Specialist (Agribusiness & USDA) to maintain and expand relationships with key institutions in the food and agriculture sector. • This role ensures client satisfaction, informs product decisions, and aligns client needs with FarmRaise’s offerings to deliver exceptional value and achieve business objectives. • Fully remote workplace, with equipment and co-working space stipend. • Please note we are structuring this as "contract-to-hire." The first 3 months will be a contractor arrangement, and then we intend to hire the candidate full time after that assuming performance metrics are achieved. • You care about goal posts, data, and exhibit impeccable attention to detail and a strong outcomes orientation. • You can drive scrappy outcomes with minimal guidance or “big company” resources. You have worked in resource-constrained environments in the past with great success. • You are also highly team-oriented and motivated to help FarmRaise grow. • Your fingerprints will not only be on the FarmRaise product, but also across our business strategy and team culture as your voice and leadership influence FarmRaise’s trajectory. • You’re eager to grow enterprise traction at FarmRaise by supporting our enterprise sales function and closing deals.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in account management, USDA program management, agtech product management or a related field within the tech and/or agricultural industry. • Understanding of and passion for the agricultural sector, including the agricultural industry landscape, key players, USDA and policy initiatives, and the perspectives of farmers and ranchers. • Proven track record of managing and growing client and stakeholder relationships. • Impeccable organization skills, with strong time management, attention-to-detail, project management and task coordination abilities. • Desire and willingness to conduct user interviews; you're someone who enjoys speaking to people all of the time. • Ability to quickly pick up and use technology platforms like jotform, airtable, and databox. • Ability to quickly produce high-quality content across multiple types of digital and print media. • Familiarity with software development processes and technical terminology. • Excellent communication and presentation skills that build rapport and trust with clients and within the FarmRaise team. • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to analyze client data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify optimization and growth opportunities, and to then use that data to drive decision-making and strategy. • Ability to identify client needs and tailor solutions accordingly, including delivering requirements to the product team to influence product development. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. • Experience with Pipedrive, Intercom, or similar CRM systems. • Comfort with basic Excel modeling and experience with business intelligence tools and databases •
