📋 Description
• Remote field-based sales position • Calling on Equine animal owners to evaluate existing feeding programs • Selling/consulting at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week) • Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, vets, and trainers • Enhancing Purina's brand image, selling product, and building store traffic
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired • Candidates with pending bachelor's degree or proven sales experience may be considered • Previous sales experience highly desired • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to Cattle and Equine animal owners • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office • Ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce, etc. • Strong background and previous professional experience with Equine animals • Percentage of travel: 15% overnight travel, daily travel in the assigned geography
