📋 Description

• LastPass is looking for Head Commerce Engineering • As Head of Commerce Engineering, you’ll lead the charge in building and scaling our end-to-end eCommerce systems and will be a key contributor to enable our Commerce Strategy and connected company objectives. • Reporting directly to our CIO, you’ll own the strategy and execution of platforms powering our customer journey — from LastPass.com to billing and payments. • Your work will directly shape how users experience LastPass. • This is more than a technical role — it’s a cross-functional leadership opportunity to transform digital commerce for a globally recognized brand. • About the team: You’ll join our Business Technology (BizTech) team - the powerhouse behind company-wide digital transformation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven executive leadership in managing large-scale eCommerce, subscription, and payment systems for SaaS or consumer technology companies. • Leadership experience with Commerce platforms and experience working in product management or engineering organizations • Proven ability to translate business strategies and architecture requirements into actionable and scalable technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver technologies that enhance the customer experience across web, mobile, and digital channels, ensuring seamless integration and engagement • Ability to drive a forward-thinking, innovative culture by identifying emerging trends, experimenting with new technologies, and quickly adapting to changing business and customer needs • Technical depth in eCommerce architecture, subscription management platforms (e.g., Zuora, Stripe, RevPro), payment systems (CyberSource, Ayden, etc) integrations and NetSuite ERP • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical strategies with broader company goals. • Exceptional leadership, team building, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. • In-depth knowledge of SaaS business models, product led growth motions, billing workflows, and subscription-based revenue operations. • Knowledge of global payment compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
