Description

• Lead cost analysis and financial modeling for large-scale government contracts, including cost-plus, fixed-price, and time-and-materials contracts. • Develop and maintain cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for ongoing and future government projects. • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support contract negotiations, bid proposals, and program cost assessments. • Collaborate with program managers, procurement teams, and senior leadership to ensure accurate cost reporting and compliance with government regulations (FAR/DFAR). • Provide strategic recommendations based on cost analysis and financial data to improve project profitability and efficiency. • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations related to cost accounting standards (CAS), financial reporting, and auditing requirements. • Review and analyze direct and indirect costs, overhead rates, and material costs to ensure they align with contract requirements. • Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and presentations for internal and government stakeholders. • Support contract audits and work closely with external auditors to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to contract costs. • Mentor and train junior cost analysts, providing guidance on financial analysis, cost modeling, and government contract regulations.
