Description

• Managing program(s) profit and loss (P&L), costs, scheduling, quality, and timely delivery. • Preparing proposals to shipyard and government clients. • Provides support to a Director for execution of a program or programs with complex engineering and design systems. • Develop and execute change proposals utilizing established change management process and coordination with G&C engineering and design technical groups. • Track and manage all schedule, budget, and progress metrics associated with change proposals through coordination with G&C engineering and design technical groups as well as program PMO staff. • Coordinate and lead daily, weekly, and ad hoc meetings, to include development of agendas, meeting minutes, CDRLs, and action items. • Support U.S. Ship Design Group Portfolio Manager and Assistant Portfolio Manager in business-wide financial and staff planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline. • 15+ years total Program Management experience • 5+ years Project management experience in ship design and ship building programs with U.S. Government end-customers. • Strong customer focus, ability to support team leadership, and establish strong, collaborative working relationships with customers, technical staff, senior managers, and peers. • Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills • Has or able to obtain a SECRET clearance, US Citizenship required.
