Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering underwriting training programs • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for the underwriting team • Develop educational initiatives for both new hires and experienced underwriting team members • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop training modules • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate knowledge sharing • Create and maintain knowledge materials, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Integrate Quality Assurance (QA) feedback into training programs • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and assessments • Foster a culture of continuous learning within underwriting operations • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting operations, with in-depth knowledge of underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and operational processes • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing training programs, preferably within the insurance industry • Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies • Proven ability to translate complex underwriting concepts into training materials that are easy to understand • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Quality Assurance, Claims, and Customer Experience • Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple training projects simultaneously • A passion for innovation in learning and development, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
