β’ The Account Development Manager will drive results and relationships with corporate accounts in Canada. β’ Achieve forecast and market share objectives through developing customer partnerships and implementing business plans. β’ Be the lead point of contact for all sales activities, serving as the Voice of Customer. β’ Coordinate internal cross-functional resources to maximize results at the customer level. β’ Actively manage trade and marketing budgets for accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
β’ 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of consistent, positive sales results in the CPG, medical device or pharmaceutical industry β’ Direct national key account management working with buyers, category directors, pharmacy/professional services and executive level head office staff of major pharmacy chains an asset β’ Experience & knowledge of LifeScan Canada commercial model & value proposition an asset β’ Knowledge of trade and retail market (OTC/diagnostics or pharmaceutical preferable), competitive products and industry at a national level β’ Strong understanding of Strategic Customer and Relationship Management skills β’ Outstanding leadership skills β role model for the LifeScan Shared Values β’ Ability to drive multiple projects and initiatives in a dynamic environment with competing priorities β’ Excellent negotiating skills, presentation and communication skills, analytical skills β’ Ability to work independently and to demonstrate initiative. β’ Proven administration, budget management, and computer skills β’ Ability to analyze and use data to develop persuasive recommendations, plans and solutions β’ Strong cross-functional collaboration and planning skills, including ability to assess financial opportunities and ROI β’ Good driving record; ability to travel (air or surface) to customer account locations in Canada
