Description
• Nurture relationships with Kenyan organizations and communities. • Plan and oversee activities performed in Kenya. • Cultivate and maintain our Child Sponsor Program. • Oversee the activities of Awasi School Project. • Communicate and build relationships with Kenyan officials, organizations and communities. • Work with CFO to monitor expenses of Child Sponsor Program. • Be the direct contact for Kenya volunteer trips. • Ensure school is meeting the needs of the community.
Requirements
• International travel • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills • Ability to communicate professionally, critically think and manage stressful situations • Previous international travel required. • Previous travel to Kenya desired but not required • Ability to understand foreign currencies • Requires a high degree of confidentiality due to communications with Kenyan Officials, access to Donor information and child information • Ability to speak Luo or Swahili desired, but not required • Subject to background check
