📋 Description
• Build and evaluate business requirements and consult with stakeholders to ensure model design reflects business needs. • Gain an understanding of insurance concepts and terminology in particular individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, and/or retirement planning. • Design, build, and maintain functionality and solutions in Anaplan that are in line with best practices. • Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, pages, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs. • Continuously monitor and optimize Anaplan models for performance. • Develop and maintain strong documentation on assumptions, models, and processes for end users and other model builders. • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the established Anaplan Center of Excellence by providing training, support to end-users, and promoting the adoption and proficiency of Anaplan across the organization. • Provide subject matter expertise on best practices using Anaplan while maintaining knowledge of current and emerging trends of the ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
• Anaplan Certifies Model Builder certified or equivalent training completed. • 2-5+ years of experience working as a model builder in Anaplan or another EPM tool. • An analytical and curious mindset with problem-solving skills and great attention to detail. • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information. • Anaplan Solution Architect certified (Nice To-Have). • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and integration (Nice To-Have). • Familiarity with QuickSight, Power BI or other Business Intelligence software (Nice To-Have). • Background in insurance domain in particular individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, and/or retirement planning (Nice To-Have). • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Nice To-Have).
