📋 Description
• Lead a team to develop and enhance Annuity product modeling • Partner with external stakeholders to implement model changes • Provide technical expertise overseeing changes to the Centralized Annuity actuarial models • Ensure rigorous governance, documentation, and validation/review standards • Communicate effectively on complex modeling topics • Influence strategic decision making with modeling expertise • Introduce and encourage innovation and efficiencies in the models
🎯 Requirements
• 12+ years of actuarial experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience • FSA or ASA designation with additional actuarial experience • Extensive experience with modeling Annuity products • Strong understanding of regulatory/accounting/capital frameworks • Understanding of capital markets and financial instruments • Expert level proficiency in AXIS • Strong relationship management skills • Strong project management leadership skills • Analytical skills: ability to think critically • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative major is required • Nice-to-have: Technical and programming skills in database, analytical, and business intelligence tools
