Description

• Take ownership of profit and loss oversight, identifying opportunities for financial optimization and growth. • Perform risk management analysis and recommend strategic financial adjustments to improve profitability and mitigate potential risks. • Manage and review day-to-day financial operations, including balance sheets, income statements, and transaction records. • Oversee invoicing, billing, and reconciliation processes. • Handle payment processing, including both traditional bank transfers and cryptocurrency payments. • Assist in preparing financial reports, including ad-hoc financial analysis as required. • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal financial policies and industry regulations. • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. • Ensure accurate calculation of taxes, including crypto-related obligations, in cooperation with the accountant team. • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments, including managing project costs, profitability, margins, and pricing models, to drive sound financial decision-making.

Requirements

• EU Citizenship or Residency: This is a contractor position, but due to banking requirements, applicants must be EU citizens or residents to manage payments. • Accounting Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A professional accounting certification might be acceptable in lieu of a university degree. • Crypto Expertise: Familiarity with cryptocurrency transactions and accounting principles. • Experience: Sufficient finance or accounting role. • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with financial software (Xero) and advanced Google Sheets skills. Experience with crypto platforms (Koinly) is preferred. • Communication Skills: Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
