📋 Description

• The GHG Verification Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the project management for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions verification. • The Project Manager will coordinate across multiple teams, engage with Full time and Contract verifiers, internal stakeholders (planning / sales) and external clients, and provide expert guidance to ensure accurate and timely execution of SOW’s agreed with GHG clients. • Manage GHG verification projects, including planning, execution, following Signed SOWs to meet agreed timelines and resource availability. • Develop project schedules and resource requirements for GHG verification projects. • Monitor progress and manage risks to ensure successful project completion. • Act as the main point of contact for clients, verifiers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate communication and coordination between clients, lead verifiers, and account managers to ensure smooth verification processes. • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status and key deliverables. • Maintain MS Project timelines to ensure it is the single source of truth regarding project status and relevant Power BI reports can be produced and circulated to management. • As a lead verifier, prepare and finalize findings log, verification report, and assurance statement as deliverables to the client. • Manage and mentor the lead and supporting verifiers to correctly use MS Project and provide input to the software in a timely manner to maintain the accuracy of the project status. • Induct / coach new lead verifiers and new verifiers on technical knowledge and on MS Project for effective verification and project management.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: 2+ years of experience in GHG verification, environmental consulting, or sustainability project management. • Lead verifications of corporate sustainability reporting, with environmental, social, and governance data. • Has working knowledge of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emission Inventory methods (WRI GHG Protocol, California ARB, ISO 14064-1, GRI, AA1000, SASB, TCFD, etc.) • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GHG emissions accounting, verification processes, and climate change science. • Proficiency in GHG inventory management software and data analysis tools. • Project management qualification and knowledge of MS Project software. • Soft Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data. • Coaching and team collaboration experience. • Strong IT skills with a high standard of personal and professional presentation.
