Description

•Manages all accounting functions including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax compliance, treasury, financial planning and analysis and maintenance of financial systems, combining strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. •Oversees the month-end close process and preparation and consolidation of company financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and focusing on improving internal controls, adding efficiencies and reducing time to close. •Spearheads the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates, collaborating with department heads to create detailed financial projections and monitoring and reporting on company performance against those targets. •Coordinates and prepares comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision making, including pricing recommendations, cost and profit analysis and financial modeling. •Leads and develops the accounting staff through active communication and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth and collaboration. Works closely with the team to implement strategies and solve problems in real time. •Supports risk management efforts by facilitating the annual business insurance renewals and directing the accounting team’s credit management efforts. •Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross functional team members, external auditors, tax professionals, insurance consultants and financial institutions. •Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•Strong communication, analytical and management skills, including people management and delegation •Proficient in accounting software (Dynamics 365 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word and Outlook) •Advanced general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge •Proven ability to navigate and understand multiple systems and complex business processes •Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, CPA preferred •Experience in the Services Industry preferred
