• Who we are: M-Files is the leading platform for knowledge work automation. • Summary of the Role: The SEO Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to improve the organic search performance of M-Files’ websites. • Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search performance. • Collaborate with local teams to identify the most valuable keywords and develop strategies around them. • Develop and manage a website content calendar that aligns with SEO goals. • Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues. • Lead link-building strategy across all regions. • Work closely with the website manager to implement technical SEO improvements. • Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with overall digital marketing strategies. • Conduct competitor analysis to identify key competitors' strategies.
• 3-5 years of experience in SEO or a related digital marketing role. • Experienced in implementing SEO strategies in non-English countries, ideally in Europe, and understanding the challenges of content localization. • Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog. • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages as they relate to SEO. • Knowledge of structured data and schema markup. • Proficient in using WordPress for content management, including creating and editing blogs, articles, content pages, and posts. • Experienced in optimizing images for web use, including proper file formats and compression, to enhance page load times and SEO performance. • Proficient in using Google Web Core Vitals and Lighthouse for assessing and improving website performance, user experience, and SEO metrics. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to effectively communicate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices. • Experiment with new SEO tools, techniques, and strategies to continuously improve performance. • Initial Phone Screen w/People & Culture Team Member • Hiring Manager - Chief Marketing Officer • Internal Team Panel #1 • Internal Team Panel #2
