📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We are actively searching for an experienced and dedicated Vulnerability Manager to join our consulting team. • We're seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in large-scale vulnerability management. • Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be liaising between technical teams and senior management, providing important updates on vulnerability management efforts. • The ideal candidate is adept at understanding and addressing vulnerabilities and is driven by the challenge of safeguarding systems and data. • Reporting to our Resource Manager, you will work remotely and be tasked with coordinating the identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities in our clients' IT systems. • This role is central to the security of large, multi-location enterprise environments and requires effective collaboration with technical teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information security, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or related field, with focus on vulnerability management. • Excellent communication and presentation skills when presenting proof of concepts, findings, conclusions, and other information to various audiences. • Strong understanding of Operating Systems and network protocols. • Hands-on experience with technical concepts, security controls, and best practices related to networking, system administration, application development, and information security. • Familiarity with security risk management frameworks and hardening guidelines (e.g., NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks). • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to prioritize and execute. • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships. • Security certifications (e.g, Security+, CEH) are preferred. • Experience in ServiceNow vulnerability response and reporting is a plus. • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management scanning technologies and assessment methodology is desirable. • Understanding of various vulnerability categories at the OS/Web level is beneficial. • System/Process Automation (Orchestration) experience is advantageous. • Experience implementing systems/applications using Agile/Scrum is a nice to have.
