β€’ Manage the Sales and Service territory to ensure customer requirements are met. β€’ Counsels customer management on the selection of machinery, machine specifications and options. β€’ Evaluates and recommends to the customers the best method of operation for type of equipment. β€’ Promotes the sale of new equipment, components, parts and rebuild services. β€’ Assesses customer requirements and assist customers in solving specific problems. β€’ Maintains open communications with customers on warranty disputes to reach a compromise. β€’ Ensure that the Sales Manager is kept informed. β€’ Monitors territory parameters (i.e. expenses, warranties, concessions, gross margin on sales, etc.) through Sales Manager and Sales Team. β€’ Participates in price negotiations and assists in preparation of quotes and sales orders. β€’ Keeps informed on competitor activity and competitive machine developments and performance. β€’ Prepares a number of reports both on a periodic and special assignment basis. β€’ Maintains, takes corrective actions and monitors the timely communication of needs for customers, Engineers, Service Center and Warehouse to reach optimum results and achieve objectives.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 5 years progressive experience in heavy equipment, construction, demolition, mining, or similar industry. β€’ Strong mechanical aptitude an asset. β€’ Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ Proven customer-centric approach to client management. β€’ Strong sales and financial acumen. β€’ Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms. β€’ Proficient in MS office package. β€’ Willing and able to travel up to 80% to various locations. β€’ Strong personal commitment toward an injury-free workplace. β€’ Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field considered an asset.
