📋 Description

• The Regulatory and Policy Manager at MARA will be focused on internal policy development and regulatory compliance. • This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's internal teams are well-informed about regulatory changes and policy implications. • The manager will develop materials, provide briefings, and offer strategic advice to guide internal decision-making and compliance efforts. • This position demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in regulatory affairs who can translate complex policy into actionable insights for the organization. • Analyze current and emerging regulatory issues at state and federal levels that impact MARA. Develop internal policy papers, briefs, and strategic documents to guide company strategy. • Oversee the company's adherence to regulatory standards. Develop compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures for internal use. • Design and deliver training programs for employees on regulatory compliance and policy awareness. Ensure that the workforce understands regulatory risks and the importance of compliance. • Regularly brief senior management and other internal stakeholders on regulatory trends, potential impacts, and compliance requirements. Tailor communications to ensure clarity and relevance to different departments. • Maintain detailed records of regulatory compliance activities, policy analyses, and internal training sessions. Prepare regular reports for senior management on compliance status and policy developments. • Work closely with departments such as Legal, Operations, and R&D to integrate regulatory considerations into their operations and planning processes. • Advocate for policy positions internally that align with MARA's strategic objectives, ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned with the company's regulatory approach. • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather input on regulatory impacts and to disseminate policy-related information effectively across the organization. • Prepare internal teams for potential regulatory issues or crises by developing response strategies and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs or policy analysis within the energy, technology, or a related industry. • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective advocacy and internal communication. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Proficient in stakeholder management and negotiation. • Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes at both state and federal levels. • Professional certifications in regulatory affairs or compliance are advantageous.
