• Own & implement the Canadian strategic plan to drive outpaced share gains and profit improvements. • Manage and develop direct report(s) focusing on creating and implementing channel/segment-specific growth strategies for MBC’s Canadian portfolio of brands. • Analyze & identify target markets and build an overall channel opportunity model by segment, growth, and trends. • Develop and implement product and channel strategies by channel & segment, focusing on GTM vision, product and customers. • Track effectiveness of channel programs and recommend plan changes as appropriate. • Develop and drive customer loyalty program by channel & segment. • Develop & deploy effective metrics & models to enhance in market decision making and actions. • Develop & deploy a process to identify & implement product and service gaps across all Canadian channels & segments. • Increase speed to market while tracking & maximizing ROI for product & channel initiatives. • Develop & manage the deployment of all cabinet brands that span the price spectrum across all Canadian channels & segments. • Develop & deploy pricing strategies by channel maximizing revenue & profit. • Provide direct and indirect assistance to sales representatives. • Travel as business needs require, estimated 50% plus. • Deliver results! • Perform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.
• 7+ years of experience in the building products industry with a product, marketing and/or sales background. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. • Possess or obtain intimate knowledge of industry products, services, distribution, customers & competitors. • Background or experience with lean, 8020, & agile is preferred.
