• Conduct analysis into our go to market strategy, with a focus on the customers we are targeting, the pipeline we are generating, our ability to close that pipeline and retain those customers • Review processes in place for deal desk, invoicing, commissions, territory planning, to name a few areas, and recommend improvements • Understand the customer journey here at Material and look for opportunities to improve the experience and operations • Work with Finance on budgeting and forecasting for the go to market areas • Ad hoc things such as investor reporting, Board presentation preparation, etc

Requirements

• Ownership: Ability to work as part of a team and independently to perform the necessary tasks and improve the processes • Attitude: Flexible enough mindset to learn and grow as needs change but firm enough to implement real change and controls through better process, service oriented with the needs of the company always in mind • Curiosity: Want someone who wants to build and grow, this is an opportunity to be the first internal accounting hire, so you can help lay the foundation for growth and drive the desired culture
