Description

• Own the creation, implementation and continual improvement of Matillion’s efforts to clearly articulate our offer, its business value, and how it answers customers pain points, and how its unique and differentiated from competing offers through top quality marketing content. • Oversee marketing research initiatives and gather insights on marketing trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics to inform strategy. Continuously monitor competitors activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge. • Collaborate with Product leaders to influence the roadmap based on market need and customer feedback. • Lead on the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring all aspects are coordinated and successful. • Ensure all product marketing activities align and reinforce not only our brand identity and messaging and establish Matillion as a thought leader, but also contribute to our strategic goals. • Facilitate and encourage cross collaboration with product, sales and engineering to ensure alignment on product goals and strategies

Requirements

• Significant experience in product marketing, with demonstrable experience in a leadership role. • Experience working in Enterprise infrastructure, especially Data & AI categories • Proven depth in positioning and messaging development for technical products serving technical user and decision maker personas • Excellence in cross functional working aligning behind goals, strategies and programs across Product, Marketing, Field and G&A functions • Ability to develop and execute a product marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals. • Customer, partner and analyst obsessed engaging regularly with all groups to gather insight, pitch ideas and learn • Ability to analyse market trends, customer insights, and product performance to inform strategy and align efforts with broader business goals. • Proven ability to think and work strategically, while driving rapid execution including personally contributing key deliverables • Confident in exec audiences and on stage and able to communicate and persuade effectively • Happiest moving from high level strategy and context switching to execution and supporting others
