📋 Description
• Collaborate to understand goals, challenges, and technical requirements • Design cloud solutions leveraging Azure (and potentially AWS or GCP) to meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability • Ensure solutions adhere to McKesson’s enterprise architecture standards, security frameworks, and compliance requirements • Partner with business units to guide them through the onboarding process, helping them adopt cloud services effectively • Act as a technical advisor to support the planning and execution of cloud migration projects • Work closely with enterprise architecture, cloud platform operations, and governance teams • Develop and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation • Participate in training and enablement activities for business unit teams
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in solution architecture and cloud-based technologies • 10+ years of Cloud Architecture and/or relevant industry experience • Expertise in Azure is required; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus • Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, microservices architecture, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates • Proven experience in designing and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in large scale cloud environments that are heavily regulated • Solid understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks • Experience with migration projects and hybrid cloud environments is a plus. • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
