Description
• Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines • Review tax returns and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness • Prepare complex book/tax adjustments as needed • Utilize accounting and tax software to compile information for tax reporting • Support interplay between partnerships and corporations • Collaborate with tax accounting team to support US tax provision • Contribute to process and technology improvements • Research tax issues, review legislative developments and evaluate the impact • Work with tax planning and strategy
Requirements
• 7+ years relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry • Fortune 500 experience needed • Leading a team of Tax Compliance professionals • Proficiency working with common accounting and income tax software, CorpTax expertise preferred • Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance processes, including consolidations, elections and disclosures • Working tax accounting knowledge is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail • Big Four experience desired • Healthcare experience preferred
