β’ The Compensation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive and effective sales compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top-performing sales talent. β’ This role requires a strong understanding of sales compensation, best practices, data analysis, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. β’ This position reports to the VP of Accounting and Finance. β’ Develop and maintain competitive compensation plans that align with company goals, sales strategies, and market trends. β’ Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential compensation adjustments. β’ Partner closely with Sales leadership, HR, and Finance to ensure alignment on compensation strategies and objectives. β’ Streamline and automate compensation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. β’ 3+ years of experience in sales compensation design and administration, preferably in manufacturing or construction industry. β’ Experience with various compensation plan structures (e.g., quota-based, commission-only, hybrid). β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β’ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, compensation software, etc.). β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β’ Knowledge of sales compensation best practices and regulations. β’ Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. β’ The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
