Description

• As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you design the look and feel of our e-commerce solutions. • Creating functional specifications, technical design and implementation of customized frontend solutions based on the most sophisticated on-demand e-commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SCAYLE by About You and Shopify Plus) • Frontend web development of customized solutions • Perform code reviews and create unit, integration and acceptance tests • Exchange and close collaboration with your colleagues and customers within the scope of various e-commerce projects • Technical supervision of less experienced colleagues in projects • Development of technical skills and methods within a team

Requirements

• At least 5 years of working experience in Frontend • Creating and documenting reliable, testable and efficient solutions to problems • Experience in requirements engineering • Understanding of agile methodologies and principles • Ability to understand, explain and help to shape in detail the entire system landscape • Applying and advocating the latest best practices • Experience in organization and performance of code reviews • Strong knowledge of current web-technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 • Strong knowledge of CSS pre-processing tools, such as SCSS, SASS or PostCSS • Good knowledge of a CSS framework like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS or Chakra UI • Strong knowledge of JavaScript including experience with modern Browser APIs. You also feel comfortable with using ES6+ concepts and capabilities. • Experience in at least one component-based frontend framework like React or Vue.js • Professional experience in web design, UI, UX and accessibility best practices and performance optimizations • Experience with integrating RESTful or GraphQL services and APIs in frontend • Good knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git (Bitbucket) • Good understanding of project management tools (Jira, Confluence) • Experience with creating unit, integration and acceptance tests • Experience in writing functional specifications
