• The Vice President of Engineering at Mode Mobile will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. • This role is responsible for leading the Engineering organization and driving technological innovation and strategic direction for our company. • The VP of Engineering will work closely with the Product team to ensure alignment between technology capabilities and product vision. • Collaborate closely with other executives to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives. • Oversee all aspects of engineering and technology, ensuring technical capabilities evolve to support our mission. • Plays a key role in evaluating acquisition opportunities and integrating teams and technology as part of Mode Mobile's portfolio.
• Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or similar leadership role in a high-growth technology company • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies • Strong background in mobile technology, preferably with experience overseeing or directly developing Android applications • Demonstrated experience working in small startup environments and scaling engineering teams • Direct experience in the mobile rewards industry or closely related fields such as mobile advertising, fintech, or digital engagement platforms • Expertise in software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives and implementing data-driven decision-making processes • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, capable of inspiring and developing high-performing technology teams • Track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making • Proven ability to work closely with product teams to align technology capabilities with product vision • Alignment with our core values: Accountable, Action-driven, Caring, Curious, Thorough
