• Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager • Location: Remote • Work Shift: PST • Working Hours: 40 hrs/week (Full-time) • Rate: TBD (depending on experience) • The Senior Accounting Manager will lead and optimize the company's accounting functions while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. • This role is essential for overseeing financial operations, providing strategic leadership to the accounting team, and driving continuous improvements in financial processes. • As a key advisor to senior management, the Senior Accounting Manager will help shape the company's financial strategies through deep financial analysis and insights. • Leadership & Guidance: Provide strategic oversight and expert guidance to the accounting team. • Financial Reporting: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial processes. • Financial Analysis & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of robust financial analysis. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to GAAP, financial regulations, and internal control policies. • Audit & Compliance Coordination: Manage the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits. • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to improve financial documentation. • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial policies, procedures, and systems. • Strategic Partner: Act as a key financial advisor to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA certification is required. • A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • Preferably has experience working in the Agricultural and/or Manufacturing industries. • Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leadership. • Experience managing accounting functions in a remote environment is preferred. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead the team through transitions.
