📋 Description

• Mozn is a rapidly growing and leading data science & product development firm based in Riyadh with a proven track record of excellence in supporting and growing the analytics ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. • We are looking for an experienced Senior FinOps Engineer to lead and optimize our cloud financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and accountability across our cloud environments. • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud platforms, financial analysis, and operational strategies to support sustainable growth while driving value from our cloud investments.

🎯 Requirements

• Analyze and monitor cloud usage and expenses across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Implement strategies to optimize cloud costs and improve efficiency. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for cloud cost visibility and tracking. • Partner with engineering, finance, and product teams to develop cost-optimization strategies. • Establish and enforce cloud cost management policies and best practices. • Drive adoption of FinOps principles across the organization. • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through resource rightsizing, instance reservations, and discounts (e.g., Reserved Instances, Spot Instances). • Automate cost management processes, including tagging, reporting, and anomaly detection. • Work with finance teams to forecast cloud spending and align budgets with business objectives. • Provide insights into future costs based on usage trends and business needs. • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate teams on FinOps best practices. • Advocate for cultural change to instill accountability and financial ownership within teams. • Implement accurate chargeback and showback mechanisms. • Ensure granular cost allocation through tagging, labeling, and usage analysis.
