📋 Description

• Lead oversight, development, design, implementation, and evaluation of quality data abstraction • Assist data abstractors in resolving documentation-related questions and barriers • Collaborate with project team to assess abstraction outcomes • Develop educational trainings to address inconsistencies in data abstraction processes • Identify and implement strategies for improving clinical quality data abstraction process • Provide guidance and mentoring to abstractors • Monitor all contract aspects relevant to assigned tasks • Apply quality principles and strategies to support project goals • Engage key partners and serve as a point of contact • Inform the development of the abstraction training program • Demonstrate personal accountability and work ethic • Attend and present at relevant meetings and conferences.

🎯 Requirements

• RN, RHIA or RHIT required • Degree in Healthcare related field required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Current or valid license or certification required • Minimum of 3 years of clinical data abstraction experience required • Excellent communication skills including public speaking • Minimum of 2 years of quality improvement experience • Excellent organizational, project management and customer service skills required • Ability to multitask, working on more than one task simultaneously • Ability to read and interpret federal/state contracts and regulations • Experience with electronic documentation • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Access and Visio • Health information technology experience/knowledge preferred • Travel Required
