📋 Description

• The Senior Sustainability Consultant will focus on sustainability reporting and disclosure with a strong focus on regulatory compliance • Advising corporations on voluntary ESG reporting and sustainability strategy • Supporting climate risk assessments, single and double materiality assessments, and Greenhouse Gas inventory development • Responsibilities for business development, sustainability program development and evolution, revenue generation through direct time and project team management • Direct outreach and relationships with potential and existing clients and partners

🎯 Requirements

• Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience with major environmental sustainability reporting frameworks including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) • Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) • International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) • Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in Scope 1, 2 and 3 corporate GHG accounting • Strong experience writing technical documents and preparing client facing slide decks, on topics such as methodology documentation, summaries of analytical insights, and process documentation or training/instructional materials • Demonstrated experience in sustainability consulting and third-party assurance of corporate inventories • Experience in developing climate strategy with corporate clients • Entrepreneurial mindset, eager to learn new fields and grow with the company • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Five (5) or more years of experience in leading sustainability related consulting engagements with end-to-end responsibilities including project management, client relations, active leadership and problem solving, and proposal writing • Demonstrated project management experience
