• Are you an experienced Health Technology Assessments Consultant looking for an exciting new opportunity in a people-first business? • We are currently looking for self-motivated, experienced Consultants to join our friendly Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Team at Mtech Access. • This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. • As an experienced Consultant within the HTA Team, you will be required to work autonomously and deliver compelling materials consistently to a high standard across a varied range of therapeutic areas and a breadth of deliverables. • Effectively managing the input of support/junior project team contributors. • Advising on the strategic direction/shaping of specialty deliverables to ensure that these are ‘fit for purpose’ and meet client objectives. • As a member of a project team, leading on appropriate aspects of the project, including the intellectual design, timeline development, and ongoing organisation and execution of projects, including timely communication with colleagues and clients. • Leading business development activities within HTA, such as: Horizon scanning activities, researching and writing proposals, organising introductory calls with clients, leading and presenting at credentials opportunities or pitches. • Contributing to technical and consulting mentorship, including dissemination of skills and knowledge, on and off project, and formal training; actively contributing to functional team responsibilities.

Requirements

• Essential Degree-level educated or equivalent qualifications • Up-to-date knowledge of HTA processes, including all NICE and SMC programmes • Experience in leading HTA submissions from inception to completion • Experience of business development activities, including writing proposals and leading pitches for HTA projects • High level of integrity, with a strong understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills • Highly autonomous with evidence of critical thinking, sound judgement and excellent communication skills • Capable of effective working in a changing and fast-paced environment • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately • Proactive, positive attitude with an ability to find effective solutions to issues • A commitment to ongoing self-development and learning • A high work ethic, with a can-do attitude towards management of priorities • Fluent written and spoken English skills • Desirable Previous experience in non-UK HTA submissions (e.g. CADTH, PBAC, TLV, HAS, AMCP, etc) • Experience facilitating advisory boards and mock committee meetings • Previous experience of working in rare diseases
