• Job Summary • The Account Executive provides exceptional leadership and expert guidance in building and strengthening relationships with partner financial institutions and their key personnel, ensuring success for all stakeholders. • They will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the Wholesale Lending Division. • This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the mortgage market, financial services industry, exceptional networking skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships. • The focus of this role is to assist financial institutions in enhancing mortgage lending capabilities through a proactive and consultative approach, building and increasing volume, ensuring retention and satisfaction, and identifying, developing and presenting solutions and strategies. • There will be some travel required for this role. • Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Business Development: • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets. • Analyze market trends, financial institution needs and competition to identify opportunities for new leads and growth for existing partner financial institutions. • Develops and builds strong relationships with key stakeholders at financial institutions. • Establishing strategic partnerships with other industry leaders to expand market reach. • Attends industry conferences, trade shows and local networking events to promote Key Mortgage Wholesale Lending Division. • Enhance Key Mortgage’s brand image and awareness through marketing campaigns, public relations and social media engagement. • Relationship Management • Serves as the primary contact for the key stakeholders at partner financial institutions, providing expert guidance that will continually improve adoption while ensuring retention and satisfaction with the relationship. • Facilitates the implementation, onboarding, and training of new partners in collaboration with the assigned partner mortgage loan originator. • Proactively works with key stakeholders at partner financial institutions to establish critical goals, develop action plans and present solutions and tools that empower them to increase mortgage opportunities. • Performs continuous, regular assessments with partner financial institutions and provides scorecards and performance evaluations to those institutions. • Coordinates and provides ongoing formal training sessions to partner financial institutions. • Follows up on Key Mortgage announcements to ensure partner credit unions are up-to-date on the most recent information and best practices. • Sales Management: • Manage and lead Wholesale Channel loan origination team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide the partner financial institutions and their clients with a high level of service. • Track and analyze the performance of the wholesale loan origination team. • Adjust strategies as necessary to optimize performance. • Ensure that the wholesale loan origination team is held responsible for achieving sales objectives and actively participating in regular sales activities with their designated partner financial institution. • Collaborates with departments to resolve any transnational issues to meet the needs of the partner financial institutions and their clients. • Ensure that all sales activities between the partner mortgage loan originator and partner financial institution comply with federal, state and company policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in wholesale sales management • Experience working in/with banks and credit unions highly preferred • Demonstrated expertise in coaching and training • Strong presentation abilities • Background in B2B relationship management • Exceptional customer service skills • Experience in structuring loans • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Outstanding organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace is highly preferred
