β€’ Engage with patients through various communication channels including telephone, email, and live chat. β€’ Work aged accounts, researching and reconciling credit balance accounts and processing adjustments as needed. β€’ Review patient insurance coverage for genetic testing. β€’ Document activities appropriately in process notes. β€’ Participate in Quality Assurance plan. β€’ Comply with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or GED equivalent required. β€’ 1+ years of experience in customer service/call center, working in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred. β€’ Excellent customer service and phone skills, with good problem solving and decision-making skills. β€’ Excellent time management, organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills. β€’ Insurance billing experience with working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred. β€’ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
