📋 Description

• Join our fast-growing team to take charge of the expanding Finance Ops, managing everything from invoices to payments • You'll step in to drive efficiency, taking over key tasks from our external bookkeeper to boost reporting speed, streamline tax and VAT filings, and shape our financial strategy • Organize and carry out bookkeeping tasks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting • Work closely with the external tax office to ensure monthly closings are accurate and on time, or handle this on your own without external help • Coordinate, prepare, and review annual financial statements with the external tax office • Prepare and send out customer invoices • Check payment status and manage the dunning process for overdue payments • Review and approve employee expense reimbursement requests • Work with the external payroll provider and People Ops to prepare and check payroll • Help set up and improve processes, such as supporting international expansion from an accounting perspective, automating accounting and operations, and creating finance process documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in an accounting-focused finance operations role at a fast-growing tech company • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and Accounting, or commercial training as a Financial Accountant or Tax Clerk • Strong knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax laws • Experience working with DATEV tools and expense management tools like Moss & Google Sheets • Fluent in both German and English • Nice-to-have: Experience working remotely, Experience with working in a SaaS software startup, Knowledge of ERP systems like Netsuite or Workday, Experience with international companies and financial consolidation
