Description

• This is a broad role requiring strong hands-on accounting skills • Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the US financial accounts • Includes management reporting, month end duties, transactional accounting and financial reporting • Responsible for maintaining US state and local taxation compliance in good standing • Key contact for US banking accounts • Requires regular liaison with Australian, US and Global stakeholders across multiple time zones • Supports other finance functions as needed

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting/business/commerce • CA/CPA qualification • 5 years plus experience in an accounting role • IFRS experience • State sales tax and Payroll experience viewed favourably • Excellent time management skills; organised, composed and shows initiative • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Advanced Excel skills preferable • Experience in using different accounting software is advantageous (NetSuite, Concur)
