Description

• Provide leadership in utilization, prior authorization and case management • Enhance relationships with providers and facilities • Oversee utilization review and quality assurance • Support Medical Management staff for timely responses • Act as business and clinical liaison to network providers and facilities • Conduct peer to peer conversations with ordering providers

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D or D.O) • Seven (7) years of experience in Health Care Delivery System • Board Certified in an American Board of Medical Specialties Board • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine • Three (3) years of direct clinical care in private and/or academic practice • Rotating weekends and holidays required • Medicare Advantage experience preferred
