Description

• Performs software requirements analysis • Participates in research, designs, develops and tests software and tools • Codes, tests, integrates and documents software solutions • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis • Participates in internal review of software components and systems • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data • Generally, works within an identified work group • Collaborates with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department • Grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibility • Keeps abreast of technology trends and champions new ideas

Requirements

• Professional and experienced understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories • Solid experience developing enterprise software and multi-tiered, Internet-based applications in Java • Strong communicational English skills • Strong Java skills and basic knowledge of database SQL • Understanding of common API messaging standards • Experience with JSP and Spring • Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows environments
