Description

• Supervision and administration of the financial documentation and financial performance of the funded projects • Assistance with the development of proposal technical narratives, budgets, budget narratives and the submission of proposals to funding agencies • Oversight and support of technical and financial reporting requirements for the funded projects • Coordination and support of all audit and federal and tax forms, negotiation of contracts and develop subawards. • Facilitation of opportunity pursuit teams • Identification of new funding opportunities including the development of opportunity briefing documents • Support/completion of the representations and certifications required by funding agencies • Funded projects Terms and Conditions compliance • Invoicing and/or drawdown for funded projects • Financial management of the Foundation, working closely with the accounting and finance teams. • Performing other duties as assigned • Consistently demonstrate The NFPA Way by Bringing Passion, Being Bold, Being Curious, Getting Connected and Owning It!

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting • Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience • Experience with project management • Knowledge of financial/accounting practices • Experience with NetSuite is required • Certified Grants Management Specialist certification from the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) is highly desirable • Federal grants management experience (NFP and Universities), and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) preferred • Ability to navigate the System for Award Management (SAM)
